An estimated 36,800 people will end up dying from Pancreatic cancer out of the 43,140 people who will be diagnosed with this terrible sickness. Pancreatic cancer is also the 4th biggest cause of cancer-related deaths in America. From 1974-1999 the survival rate for pancreatic cancer hasn't changed and it stood at 4 percent while all of the other cancer's survival rates moved from 67 percent up to 98 percent. However there is hope, many Pancreatic cancer research centers are being formed which will hopefully in the end save many lives of pancreatic cancer victims. My objective is to raise awareness and have people know that this cancer is deadly and one of the hardest cancers to cure.
